This aircraft project is the Snark from New Zealand. This is an all composite design in Kevlar and carbon fiber by Bill Barber. Power comes from a Suzuki G13 engine equipped with an SDS EM-2F engine management system. Cruise is 125 mph at 4500 rpm on around 2.5 US GPH.. Stall speed is 40 mph clean and slightly less with flaps down. 2 airframes fitted with SDS have accumulated around 120 hours with no problems so far.
